Dodge GLH targets sub-$39,000 performance

According to Car and Driver, Dodge’s proposed GLH targets a price below $39,000 and more than 300 horsepower from a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It sounds like the approachable performance car Dodge needs—but for now, it remains a pitch rather than a tested purchase.

Dodge says the 2028 GLH is planned as the successor to the Hornet SUV. A full-scale model appeared at Stellantis Investor Day in May 2026, where the company called it a “muscle hatch.” Car and Driver reports that it will use the STLA One architecture, the shared vehicle platform beneath the car.Production timing remains uncertain: reporting cited in the research points to Belvidere beginning GLH production in 2029.
